Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-Time, In-Office)
Thomas Auto Group is seeking a professional, highly organized, and dependable Human Resources Assistant to support the Corporate Human Resources Director and assist with daily HR operations across multiple dealership locations. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring employee records, on boarding, compliance documentation, and HR processes are handled efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Assist with on boarding and new hire documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance
Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files
Support benefits administration, including enrollment forms and employee communication
Assist with payroll-related documentation and employment status changes
Prepare HR reports, logs, and tracking spreadsheets
Respond to employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal employment regulations
Assist with HR audits, file management, and administrative HR projects
Provide general administrative support to the Corporate HR Director
Prior administrative experience required; Human Resources experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Professional demeanor and strong sense of accountability
Experience in a multi-location or fast-paced environment is a plus
Stable, full-time position with consistent weekday schedule
Professional corporate office environment
